Roblox Work at a Pizza Place
Work at a Pizza Place has arguably been the most successful ROBLOX game of all time, having been created back in 2008 and yet managing to maintain its popularity over the many years. The game was always incredibly successful for being one of the easiest games to play on the website, making it perfect for both new users and younger players alike to get used to ROBLOX. Due to this, not only was it perfect for users but it was also a great game to represent ROBLOX and so it has been used several times over the years for advertisement and in-game events. Over the years, it has gained 1M+ Favourites, 307K+ Likes and 259M+ Visits! There is also a mobile version of the game with 63M+ Visits. The game is still frequently updated despite how old it is, having been last updated only a few days before this article was wrote. Work at a Pizza Place is almost always in the Top Rated, Top Earning and Popular categories on the Games page for ROBLOX.
The idea of the game is quite simple, it’s all about a pizza shop, very much like Pizza Hut and Dominos and you must get a job at the shop. There are multiple different jobs to play that involves everything from suppliers, to delivery, cooking and even being a cashier or instead, you can just live as a citizen, customise your house, host parties and have people deliver pizza and drinks to your front door. As you do your job, you can gain virtual currency that can be spent on furniture in your house to make it look nicer or to expand it. If you can’t be bothered to play for very long, then you can instead spend ROBUX to buy in game coins.
The game was created by Dued1, one of the most followed game creators on the site, with 151K+ Followers. He has created several different games however Pizza Place was by far his most successful game. Some other popular games he created are Maze Journey with 40K+ Visits, Your Store Tycoon with 64K+ and Sniper City with 1M+ Visits. Obviously, these games are nowhere near as famous as Work at a Pizza Place on the website. Dued1 is so popular that he even has his own item and ROBLOX toy made about him. Dued1 also received the RDC 2016 Game Jam Trophy and 2015 BLOXY Award in game because of his game. Several developers in his dev team also have these awards.
Work at a Pizza Place is categorised as a roleplaying game by most users due to the premise of the game. Considering that you are playing as a character that works at a pizza shop and you are pretty much playing out their life, it is understandably so. Probably the closest game on ROBLOX to Work at a Pizza Place is MeepCity. Both games are animated and play very similarly but in different universes and with different tasks.
Overall, I would rate this game 6.5 from a scale of 1 to 10, it isn’t the worst game I’ve reviewed so far but not one of the best. It is updated frequently and is adjusted to fit all age groups, whether you be a teenage troll or a young child, you should be able to find some enjoyment from this game. Personally, I’m not a very big fan of this game but I remember being a big fan of it when I was younger so I won’t rate it as low as I would now-a-days. The game is designed for younger players so you must keep that in mind before rating it. There isn’t very much ‘diverse’ content however considering how up to date the game is, I’m sure players that enjoy it will stay active.
I would give it an 8 out of 10 in activity because the game is updated quite frequently and so loyal fans will most likely stay active and dedicated due to that reason however, because of the lack of diverse content, I am only going to give it an eight.
I would give it a 6 out of 10 in playability because although it is updated very often, it is still not very diverse in content so you can get bored quite quickly. The game’s updated content can also be quite underwhelming if you either don’t have enough ROBUX to afford the new stuff or you don’t have enough time to earn it.
And finally, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 in graphics and display because it features updated ROBLOX animations, etc as well as being one of the few games that have emoticons and actions that add a lot more interactions with other players.
The game has certainly not aged from 2008 and seems to be only getting better and more popular as the years go by. It is very successful and understandably. Although I might not enjoy it anymore, it will always have a special place for me on ROBLOX for being the first game that I actually properly enjoyed playing.
